Project R.E.A.C.T., Incorporated stands for Reinforcing Education And Computer Technology. It is a 501-C3 organization established in 1997 and incorporated in 1999. Its main objective has been to bridge the digital divide in the southeast community of Newport News for youth and adults. It is a community-based learning center, founded upon the vision of individuals, who also are a product of the community they serve. It was formed with the intent of becoming a vehicle of learning to children and the computer illiterate in the community. Project R.E.A.C.T. serves a community region with a very high need for its technology services.
